Filmlocationstore’s goal is to be a community made up of and for audiovisual’s industry professionals. If you are not part of this industry you must not interfere in the portal functioning.
Upload locations pictures
When we speak of location, we mean a group of images corresponding to a physical place in which it is possible to shoot a movie or a commercial. If you are an audiovisual professional you’ll understand the meaning of it, but if you are not a professional, we must inform you that filmlocationstore is not meant for tourist locations.
Observe sizes and formats
Even though filmlocationstore admits almost every image file format, the system works much more effectively if you work with .jpg, a standardised small size format file, that at the same time preserve images’ quality.
About file sizes
- Main image location visualization: 195 pixels height
- Locations thumbnails: 130 pixels height
- Visualization pop-up: 300 pixels height
- Acquired location pop-up: 480 pixels height
- Location edition pop-up: 480 pixels height
- Download: 760 pixels height.
Be aware of your equipment and your Internet connection
Uploading/downloading rate depends on the power of the computer with which you work and on the connection type you use to access the Internet. Depending on these two fundamentals factors you’ll be able to work better or worst with the system.
The system hosting allows us a worldwide transference rate of X GB for upload and download, to facilitate information exchange required by the portal.
Inform us of problems
If throughout your visits at filmlocationstore you discover that some of the locations do not match reality or that someone is making an illegitimate use of your locations, contact us .
What you must not do

Upload images that are not of your property
If you do that, you are committing a crime against authors’ rights. Filmlocationstore doesn’t take any responsibility neither for content, nor for your property misuse of uploaded images.
Not sharing your doubts with us
Use the Help section of the portal or contact directly with us: we will help you handling the tool in a simple way. Also, in your account you have access to the section Participate and Give your Opinion, through which you’ll be able to participate in surveys and market researches to adjust filmlocationstore to the daily reality of your work.
Not talking about us
Share your experience at filmlocationstore with your colleagues; you are the target of our community, the leading actor and the director. Make the most of the service we offer you to work with your clients.
Not uploading a location because it already exists
If you think your pictures are of better quality, upload them. After all, it is the production manager who decides which location to use and he might opt for the one with better photographic quality. It is even possible that he buys the two sets of images, and then he asks an estimate of cost to both location managers, the two owners of the pictures.
